My wife Beth and I grew up in Piedmont attending Clearwater Schools. I'm proud of the fact that I'm a member of the sixth generation of the Burch family to hail from Wayne County. After college, Beth and I returned to Clearwater High as faculty members where I taught and coached and Beth taught English. In 1977, along with our young son Josh, we moved to Houston, Missouri, where we worked in the motel/restaurant business with Beth's parents. This venture into the business arena was followed by another stent with me teaching and coaching. Following several more years in education, Burch Insurance Services was established and expanded through the years to have offices in both Houston and Springfield, Missouri. After over 25 years in the insurance business, Beth and I retired to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Several months into retirement, I discovered that I'm not good at relaxing with nothing to do, so I became a licensed Realtor working with a large Gulf Coast Realty agency. In August of this year we returned to Piedmont to be near family and friends. Having such a positive experience when purchasing our Piedmont home through United Country Farm/Home Realty & Auction, I made the decision to work as a Realtor with the agency that works hard for their clients and approaches the real estate business with honesty and integrity.
